In addition, the company launched its Airspace store which includes apps specifically designed for use with the device. The apps available on the Airspace Store are designed for the motion sensor technology. The store currently has more than 75 free and paid apps that cover a broad range of categories, from educational apps to of course plenty of games. More apps are expected and the collection should grow as more developers are brought on board.

The simple fact is that why controlling things by simply moving ones hand around in free air sounds like a dream come true there is a catch and that is gravity.
Unless ones arm is supported somehow the lifting and holding and pointing in free air requires real effort if one is to do it more than a few moments at a time.
Just for the experiment try pretending holding out an arm like when driving and then do that while considering what you think of Leap Motion. BZD - I bet you lift your remote every time you change channel already?
Which hand tracking product is right for you? Stereo IR Camera Module. Stereo IR Evaluation Kit. Product dimensions. Interaction zone depth. Depth between 10cm to 60cm preferred, up to 80cm maximum. Now we are eighty although still tired and possibly still in a basement. The reality is we very likely could have hit the original ship date.
This will come in the form of a beta test that will start in June. We will give the 12k developers who currently have Leap devices access to the feature complete product including OS interaction today developers only have access to the SDK. We will also invite some people who are not developers to join the beta test.
